Starting at Kamo Station (an easy hour by train or car from central Kyoto), we begin with a relaxing cycle past rice paddies and quiet hamlets before climbing gently into the famous terraced tea fields of Wazuka Village. Here, we will enjoy a well-earned break with fresh green tea and local snacks while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

The ride then continues over a spectacular mountain pass to the picturesque riverside town of Kasagi, where we’ll stop for a delicious local lunch. Afterward, the route winds past sparkling rivers, hidden shrines, and peaceful forest trails—offering a glimpse of rural life that few international visitors ever experience.

Our e-bikes’ powerful batteries make hill climbs a breeze, but a moderate level of cycling experience is recommended to get the most out of your ride.
